Accor Rolls Out ALL Concierge

Accor launched its ALL Concierge on 23 September 2026, an artificial intelligence-powered conversational tool designed to support guests throughout their entire travel journey. This initiative forms part of the French hospitality company’s broader AI strategy, according to Alix Boulnois, Accor's chief commercial, digital and tech officer.

Accor describes the ALL Concierge as the hospitality industry's first "end-to-end conversational travel companion deployed at scale". Following a pilot phase, the tool will become available across Accor's global digital channels, including its ALL Accor website and mobile application, as well as popular messaging platforms such as WhatsApp and iMessage.

Comprehensive Travel Assistance

The ALL Concierge functions as an intelligent companion, offering tailored hotel and destination recommendations based on traveller preferences, mood, and individual travel stories. Nicolas Maynard, Accor’s Senior Vice President of Data Science and AI, noted that it helps guests make decisions swiftly by synthesising guest reviews and hotel details for comparisons.

During the booking process, the tool serves as a personal loyalty coach, providing updated information on benefits and facilitating the use of loyalty points. Guests can also use the concierge to modify room reservations upon request and receive detailed information about their destination during and after their stay. A key feature is the option for guests to transition to a human agent if more personalised support is required.

Broader AI Strategy and Industry Context

Accor's introduction of the ALL Concierge demonstrates the growing trend of travellers using AI for trip planning and booking, a shift also observed in recent research from Allianz Partners. Alix Boulnois highlighted that brands must evolve for AI discovery as the hotel search environment changes, noting that Accor integrated its ALL Accor app within ChatGPT in January 2026.

This launch places Accor alongside other major hotel groups, including Marriott International, Hilton, and IHG Hotels & Resorts, all of whom have introduced similar guest-facing AI tools. Concurrently with the ALL Concierge, Accor also debuted "The Butler," an AI-powered tool designed to provide instant information and guidance to hotel teams, thereby improving guest assistance.

Implications for Asia's Travel Sector

The introduction of Accor's ALL Concierge could influence how hospitality brands in Asia engage with customers, particularly in markets with high mobile messaging application adoption rates. Asian hotel groups may accelerate their own AI integrations to meet evolving traveller expectations for personalised and immediate digital interactions.

For instance, major chains like Shangri-La or Mandarin Oriental could explore similar "end-to-end" AI companions to enhance customer loyalty and streamline booking processes. This development could drive further investment in AI technology across the region's travel sector, impacting how hotels manage bookings, deliver concierge services, and tailor loyalty programmes by 2027.

The increasing use of AI in trip planning, as observed globally, suggests a shift in consumer behaviour that Asian operators will need to address to remain competitive.
