Citi ThankYou Rewards Lists 22 Global Partners

Citi's ThankYou Rewards programme currently provides cardholders with access to 22 airline and hotel loyalty programmes for point transfers. As of October 2026, these partnerships allow travellers to convert their ThankYou points into airline miles or hotel points, potentially offering enhanced value for travel redemptions.

The transfer ratios vary depending on the type of Citi card held, with premium cards typically yielding a 1:1 ratio for many airline partners, while no-annual-fee cards often transfer at a reduced rate, such as 1:0.7 for the same partners. This extensive network aims to provide diverse options for point utilisation, catering to various travel preferences globally.

Asian Carriers Feature Prominently Among Transfer Options

Among the key airline transfer partners are several prominent Asian carriers, offering significant utility for travellers in or connecting through the region.

Cathay Pacific Asia Miles, EVA Air Infinity MileageLands, JAL Mileage Bank, Qatar Airways Privilege Club, Singapore Airlines KrisFlyer, and Thai Royal Orchid Plus all maintain a 1:1 transfer ratio for premium Citi cardholders, reducing to 1:0.7 for those with no-annual-fee cards.

Emirates Skywards offers a slightly different conversion, at 1:0.8 for premium cardholders and 1:0.56 for no-annual-fee cardholders. Etihad Guest and Turkish Airlines Miles&Smiles also feature as 1:1 partners for premium cards, further expanding options for flights connecting Asia to the Middle East and Europe. These partnerships underscore the programme's reach into key Asian aviation markets.

Hotel Programmes and Transfer Logistics Detailed

Beyond airline alliances, Citi ThankYou Rewards also includes several hotel loyalty programmes. These encompass ALL Accor Live Limitless (transferring at 1:0.5 for premium cards), Choice Privileges (1:1.5), Leading Hotels of the World Leaders Club (1:0.2), Preferred Hotels and Resorts (I Prefer) (1:2), and Wyndham Rewards (1:1).

The specific transfer ratios for no-annual-fee cards are proportionally lower. To initiate a transfer, cardholders must visit ThankYou.com and ensure the name on their loyalty account precisely matches their Citi card. Transfers are processed in increments of 1,000 ThankYou points, with a maximum of 500,000 points per single transaction.

While many transfers are instantaneous, Citi notes that some may take up to 14 days to complete, and point transfers are generally irreversible.

Maximising Value for Asian Travel Routes

For Asian travellers and those frequently flying to or from the continent, the breadth of Citi's airline partners presents clear advantages.

The ability to transfer points directly to programmes like Singapore Airlines KrisFlyer, Cathay Pacific Asia Miles, and JAL Mileage Bank at a 1:1 ratio with a premium Citi card allows for direct redemption on flights within Asia or to global destinations served by these carriers.

This can be particularly valuable for securing premium cabin awards where cash prices are often high. Cardholders with both premium and no-annual-fee Citi cards can combine their ThankYou points into a single account, enabling all points to be transferred at the higher, more favourable ratios.

This strategy maximises the potential for point redemption on sought-after Asian routes and hotel stays across the region.
