The First Cortina Launches for Winter 2026
The First Cortina, a new five-star property, will open its doors in Cortina d’Ampezzo, Italy, on 4 December 2026, just ahead of the winter ski season. Part of The Pavilions Hotels & Resorts group, the hotel offers 76 rooms and suites on Corso Italia, the main thoroughfare of the Dolomites ski resort.
Opening rates for the 'Cortina Premiere' package begin at €663 per night for two, which includes breakfast, afternoon tea at Velo, and a complimentary room upgrade, subject to availability.
The hotel is designed by Studio Marincola Architects to integrate with the UNESCO-listed Dolomites, featuring local materials like Dolomia stone and fir wood, alongside large windows and private balconies for mountain views.
Culinary and Wellness Offerings
The First Cortina will feature two distinct dining venues. Zuma, the contemporary Japanese restaurant, returns for its second winter season, providing aperitifs and dinner, complemented by live music and DJ sets in the evenings.
Velo, the hotel's signature restaurant, will serve Italian cuisine for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, along with afternoon tea, homemade pastries, and chocolates. For wellness, the REVĪVŌ Spa, The Pavilions group’s luxury brand, operates a two-storey facility.
It includes treatment rooms, a panoramic swimming pool with an outdoor section, a sauna, a hammam, a gym, a hair salon, and beauty services, catering to guests seeking relaxation after mountain activities.

The hotel's premium offering is the 140 sqm Enrosadira Penthouse, which includes three bedrooms, a 50 sqm terrace, a sauna, a Turkish bath, separate living and dining areas, and a fully equipped kitchen, with an option for guests to hire a private chef.
