Abu Dhabi Launches Complimentary Visas for Indian Travellers

The Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi (DCT Abu Dhabi) has initiated a travel trade programme. This scheme offers complimentary UAE entry visas to eligible Indian passport holders. Travellers must book a minimum three-night stay in the emirate. Bookings are made through participating travel partners or online travel agencies.
The programme commenced on August 1 and continues until October 31, 2026. This pilot initiative aims to support up to 20,000 visas. It seeks to make travel to Abu Dhabi more accessible for visitors from India.
Eligibility and Operational Mechanics
Eligible travellers must be Indian passport holders. They must depart from India. Their booking must include a return flight from India. DCT Abu Dhabi will cover the cost of these UAE entry visas. Travellers receive their visa at no extra charge. Participating travel partners have two options for programme engagement.
They can work with a DCT-appointed Destination Management Company (DMC). Under this option, DCT Abu Dhabi covers visa costs directly. Alternatively, partners may use their existing DMC connections. They will then receive a reimbursement of AED 285 for each visa issued.
