New Novotel Property in Sydney
Accor has finalised an agreement with Reve Group to manage the Novotel Sydney Castle Hill in New South Wales, Australia. This new 143-guest room hotel is projected to commence operations in early 2029. The property will integrate into the Nova Rêve mixed-use development located in Castle Hill, a suburb of Sydney.
This development is conveniently placed within walking distance of the Castle Towers shopping centre and the Castle Hill Metro Station, enhancing accessibility for future guests.

Upon its completion, Novotel Sydney Castle Hill will provide a range of facilities designed for both business and leisure travellers. Plans include multiple dining options, such as restaurants, cafés, and bars, alongside an elevated dining venue. For relaxation and fitness, the hotel will feature a fitness centre and a swimming pool.
Additionally, the property will offer dedicated spaces for conferences and various events, aiming to serve the area’s demand for both corporate gatherings and social celebrations.
Developer and Operator Outlook
Sam Kassis, Managing Director of Reve Group, stated that the company is shaping a project that addresses the future needs of Castle Hill and the wider Hills District. He added that partnering with Accor brings a globally recognised hospitality brand to the Nova Rêve precinct, strengthening its appeal for residents, visitors, and businesses.
Duncan O'Rourke, Accor's CEO for MEA APAC, noted that the signing reflects a steady demand for trusted, internationally recognised hospitality brands across key economic and lifestyle corridors within the Asia-Pacific region. He observed that integrated mixed-use precincts like Nova Rêve are becoming a model for modern living and travel.
Accor's Continued Asia-Pacific Expansion
This new Novotel property extends Accor’s development pipeline across the Pacific region, adding to its existing portfolio of over 420 hotels, resorts, and extended-stay properties in the wider Asia-Pacific market. Accor stated it is actively expanding its presence through collaborations with owners and developers in diverse urban, suburban, and leisure locations.
The continued investment in key Australian urban centres like Sydney demonstrates Accor's strategy to cater to both global travellers and growing local communities, a trend relevant for Asian investors and outbound travellers seeking established brands in popular regional destinations.
