Construction firm Balfour Beatty has completed the structural framework for the new Grand Hyatt Miami Beach. This achievement marks the "topping out" milestone for the 800-room, 17-storey hotel. The property is strategically located adjacent to the Miami Beach Convention Centre. It will establish a direct connection via a climate-controlled skyway. This development aims to substantially increase the city's capacity for hosting larger international events. The announcement confirming this construction phase completion was made on July 30. The Grand Hyatt Miami Beach will feature 12 floors dedicated to guest rooms. This includes 50 suites, each offering views across Miami Beach. These areas will complement the existing convention centre's offerings. A distinctive fifth-floor rooftop amenity deck will host an 8,000-square-foot 'grand lawn'.
