Fusion Hotel Group Expands to Vietnam's Central Highlands
Fusion Hotel Group has finalised a long-term management agreement with Han Spaces for the development of Fusion Resort Tuyen Lam Lake Da Lat, marking the group's inaugural property in Vietnam's Central Highlands.
This new resort, set to commence operations in the second quarter of 2027, will be situated on approximately 4.5 hectares at the base of a hillside, offering views over Tuyen Lam Lake. The development plan includes 15 distinct villas and a 90-room hotel, establishing a new wellness-focused destination in the region. The agreement underscores Fusion Hotel Group's strategic expansion into key leisure markets within Vietnam.
Wellness and Leisure Facilities Detailed
The forthcoming Fusion Resort Tuyen Lam Lake Da Lat is designed to cater to wellness and leisure travellers, alongside offering facilities for meetings and events. It will incorporate Fusion’s signature all-spa-inclusive wellness concept, providing spa treatments as part of the stay, complemented by a flexible breakfast-anywhere service.
Guests will have access to a comprehensive range of amenities, including multiple restaurants and bars, dedicated meeting and event spaces, a children’s club, a swimming pool, and yoga and fitness facilities. A Maia Spa with 14 treatment rooms will be central to the resort’s health and relaxation offerings, all set within a pine forest environment.
Enhanced Air Connectivity for Da Lat
Da Lat, a city increasingly recognised as a retreat destination, currently benefits from daily air services connecting it to major Vietnamese hubs, Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi, as well as international connections to Kuala Lumpur. Further enhancing its accessibility, direct flights from Singapore Changi Airport to Da Lat are anticipated to commence in December 2026.
This new air link is expected to significantly boost international arrivals, particularly from Southeast Asia, making the Central Highlands region more accessible for both leisure and business visitors seeking its cooler climate and natural landscapes.
Strategic Importance for Fusion and Regional Tourism
Christopher Hur, CEO of Fusion Hotel Group, stated that Da Lat represents a significant milestone as the group's first resort in Vietnam's highlands. He highlighted the city's natural attributes, including its mountains, pine forests, and cooler climate, as a fitting environment for Fusion's wellness-centric hospitality approach.
The addition of Fusion Resort Tuyen Lam Lake Da Lat, coupled with improving international air access, shows a growing confidence in the region's appeal for premium tourism. This development positions Da Lat to attract a broader demographic of travellers, reinforcing its status as a prominent wellness and leisure destination in Southeast Asia.
