Hyatt and Brigade Group ink two new Bengaluru hotel deals
The agreements will add 600 new rooms to Hyatt's portfolio in the Indian city, targeting both business and leisure guests.

New Hyatt Regency properties for Bengaluru
Hyatt affiliates recently finalised management agreements with property developer Brigade Group for two new Hyatt Regency hotels in Bengaluru, India. These forthcoming properties, which will be integrated into mixed-use developments by Brigade Group, are projected to contribute 600 additional rooms to Hyatt’s existing network within the city.
The agreements, announced on 27 October 2026, align with Hyatt's stated strategy for expanding its presence across India's key gateway cities, aiming to cater to a growing demand for premium hospitality services for both business and leisure guests.
Hyatt Regency at Brigade Global Park
One of the developments, the Hyatt Regency Bengaluru at Brigade Global Park, is being established through an agreement with Brigade Estates and Projects Private, an arm of Brigade Group. This hotel will form part of the group’s larger 25-acre Global Park complex.
Plans for this property include 350 guest rooms and suites, alongside extensive meeting and event facilities spanning 25,000 square feet, complemented by multiple dining establishments designed to serve various guest preferences.
Hyatt Regency on Whitefield-Kadugodi Road
The second property, the Hyatt Regency Bengaluru on Whitefield-Kadugodi Road, results from a separate agreement with Ananthay Properties Private, another entity under Brigade Group. This hotel is slated to offer 250 guest rooms and suites, a selection of food and beverage outlets, and comprehensive meeting and event amenities.
Notably, it will feature a ballroom exceeding 10,000 square feet, alongside a generous pre-function area and additional adaptable meeting spaces, catering to large-scale gatherings. Both hotels are expected to feature an all-day dining restaurant, a speciality restaurant, a grab-and-go option, a rooftop bar, a poolside bar, fitness facilities, and flexible event spaces.
Strategic growth in India
Vikas Chawla, President of Hyatt India and Southwest Asia, highlighted Bengaluru’s significance, noting the city’s robust demand for business travel, meetings, and events. He stated that this makes Bengaluru a strategic market for strengthening the Hyatt brand in India.
The signing of these two Hyatt Regency properties underscores the company's continuous commitment to growth in high-potential Indian destinations. For travellers, this expansion means an increased selection of full-service accommodation options in a major Indian economic hub, particularly beneficial for those seeking facilities for corporate functions or larger social events. It also signals a continued focus on India's burgeoning hospitality sector by major international chains.
