Park Hyatt's Phu Quoc Island Resort

Park Hyatt is preparing to open its inaugural resort in Vietnam on Phu Quoc island in December 2026. The Park Hyatt Phu Quoc occupies a 65-hectare site along 1.7 kilometres of white-sand beach on the island's southwest coast.

Drawing inspiration from traditional Vietnamese coastal villages, the resort's layout incorporates courtyards, shaded pathways, and gardens leading towards the sea. The property will comprise 114 guestrooms and suites, 54 pool villas, and The Manor, an eight-bedroom private residence designed for multi-generational stays. In total, the resort offers 169 keys, according to Park Hyatt Phu Quoc.

Wellness and Local Activities at Park Hyatt

At the heart of the Park Hyatt Phu Quoc, The Courtyard will feature six dining venues, two infinity pools overlooking the ocean, and a sunset bar. Culinary options include Fisherman's, a floating restaurant where guests can select fresh seafood, and Pepper Grill, which highlights Phu Quoc's pepper-growing heritage.

The resort will also introduce Soma Wellbeing, described by Park Hyatt as its first spa organised around circadian rhythms, offering traditional Vietnamese treatments alongside recovery facilities such as infrared masks and compression therapy.

Guests can also partake in local pepper farm and fish sauce producer visits, fishing excursions, and guided activities at the island's rice paddies. A Kids' Village will provide culinary classes, dance, and craft workshops. Phu Quoc International Airport is approximately 25 minutes away by car, offering direct flights from Singapore and other Asian cities.

Legacy Hanoi Opens in Historic Ward

Fusion Hotel Group celebrated the grand opening of Legacy Hanoi on September 16, 2026, marking its entry into Vietnam's capital. Located in the historic Ngoc Ha ward, the property features 85 hotel rooms and 133 serviced apartments, totalling 218 keys, according to Fusion Hotel Group.

Accommodation options range from studios to one- and two-bedroom units, spanning between 37 square metres and 105 square metres. The hotel rooms are situated on floors 14 to 18, while the serviced apartments occupy floors 9 to 13 and 19 to 21. Hotel room rates for the Legacy Hanoi begin at US$210 per night.

Dining and Spa at Legacy Hanoi

The hotel rooms and suites at Legacy Hanoi are equipped with private balconies, floor-to-ceiling windows, and vintage record players. The serviced apartments feature wooden finishes accented with indigo blue and terracotta colours.

The interiors of the property draw inspiration from Hanoi's heritage, incorporating references to the O Quan Chuong Gate, the Red River, and the five-petal peach blossom. A suspended sculpture, inspired by the Vietnamese crane, graces the reception area.

On the 24th floor, Moc Loft serves contemporary interpretations of Northern Vietnamese dishes, while 24 Social and Terrace provides an open-air rooftop bar with city views. The Yen Spa at the hotel offers Vietnamese massage and beauty treatments, alongside an onsen facility featuring hot and cold pools, a sauna, steam room, and relaxation lounge.

Expanding Vietnam's Accommodation Choices

These new openings significantly enhance Vietnam's hospitality landscape, offering travellers a broader range of premium accommodation. The Park Hyatt Phu Quoc introduces a high-end resort experience to a growing island destination, appealing to those seeking luxury beachfront stays.

Concurrently, Legacy Hanoi by Fusion Hotel Group diversifies the urban accommodation market in the capital, providing both hotel rooms and serviced apartments suitable for varying lengths of stay.

This expansion reflects continued investment confidence by international and regional hospitality groups in Vietnam's robust travel market, providing more sophisticated choices for travellers from Singapore and other Asian cities exploring the country.
