Nammos Resort AMAALA Opens Doors

Red Sea Global (RSG) has inaugurated Nammos Resort AMAALA, its sixth luxury property within the Triple Bay development on Saudi Arabia's Red Sea coast. The resort, a collaboration with Greece’s Nammos Hotels & Resorts, represents the Greek brand's inaugural resort hotel worldwide.

Nammos Resort AMAALA offers 110 guest rooms and 20 private residences, designed by Foster + Partners. This opening follows RSG's continued expansion of AMAALA, a major tourism and wellness megaproject, aiming to attract visitors to the evolving Red Sea coastline.

The company previously opened Rosewood AMAALA at Triple Bay last week, further solidifying the destination's growing hospitality portfolio.

Exclusive Amenities and Residences

The newly opened Nammos Resort AMAALA features a range of premium accommodation options, including one, two, and three-bedroom apartments, alongside a three-bedroom penthouse within its 20 private residences. Guests and homeowners at the resort have access to exclusive facilities, notably the Nammos Beach Club, situated on a private island.

This beach club is accessible either via a dedicated boardwalk or a private jetty. The property further enhances its guest offerings with a Nammos Spa and the Blu Kids Club, catering to families. Nammos Hotels & Resorts manages these residences, ensuring homeowners benefit from access to the resort's diverse dining venues, the beach club, and personalised services.

Vision for a Luxury Destination

Carolyn Turnbull, CEO of Nammos Hotels & Resorts, stated that the launch signifies "much more than the opening of a hotel", marking "the beginning of an entirely new chapter for Nammos".

She added that the brand has reimagined its signature "sense of occasion, exceptional hospitality, unforgettable dining and distinctive energy" into a complete resort experience, expressing pride in welcoming their first guests to AMAALA.

John Pagano, Group CEO of Red Sea Global, commented that Nammos Resort AMAALA "strengthens the diversity of experiences available across the destination", bringing the "energy and spirit of Mykonos to the Saudi Red Sea coast".

Pagano also affirmed that Nammos reinforces RSG's goal to establish AMAALA as a "world's leading luxury lifestyle and wellness destination" as the project expands.

Expanding Luxury Footprint in West Asia

The opening of Nammos Resort AMAALA brings the total number of operational resorts within the AMAALA development to six, as Red Sea Global continues its ambitious expansion plans.

The company has also announced that three additional resorts, along with more branded residences, wellness facilities, marinas, retail outlets, and dining options, are scheduled to commence operations in the coming months.

This rapid development positions AMAALA as a significant new luxury hub in West Asia, directly competing for high-net-worth travellers from established markets across the Asian continent, including those in East and Southeast Asia.

The continuous introduction of diverse high-end hospitality options by RSG will likely influence luxury travel trends and investment decisions throughout the broader Asian travel industry.
