American Express has announced plans for further expansion of its Centurion Lounge network. A new Centurion Lounge is scheduled to open at Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR) this year, with another planned for Boston Logan International Airport (BOS) in 2029. In 2026, American Express launched a new dining concept, "Sidecar by Centurion Lounge," in Las Vegas.
This concept offers a quicker, more intimate dining option for travellers with flights departing within 90 minutes, providing complimentary Wi-Fi and restrooms. American Express plans to extend this concept with a second location at Charlotte Douglas International Airport (CLT) in 2027.

Beyond Centurion Lounges, Platinum cardholders access Delta Sky Club lounges when flying on a same-day, Delta-operated flight.
