Luxury Collaboration Launches in Hong Kong

Bar Camillo is scheduled to open its doors on 25 November, establishing itself within the Rosewood Hong Kong hotel. This new venture represents a collaboration between Rosewood Hong Kong and Bar Leone, both globally recognised leaders in their respective hospitality sectors.

The concept is spearheaded by Justin Shun Wah and Lorenzo Antinori from Bar Leone, working in conjunction with the hospitality team at Rosewood Hong Kong. The partnership aims to blend the distinct styles of these two acclaimed establishments into a fresh offering for the city's discerning clientele.

Recognised Global Excellence

Both entities involved in the new Bar Camillo project have recently secured top honours. Rosewood Hong Kong maintained its position as the leading establishment on The 50 Best Hotels list for 2026. Similarly, Bar Leone retained its number one ranking on The 50 Best Bars list for 2026.

Bar Leone, which first opened in 2023, notably became the inaugural Asian bar to achieve the global top spot in 2025, an accolade it successfully defended in 2026. These repeated recognitions underscore the high calibre of hospitality expertise converging in this new Hong Kong venue.

A New Approach to Hotel Bar Culture

Bar Camillo intends to reinterpret the traditional hotel bar experience, drawing inspiration from Bar Leone's philosophy of "cocktail popolari", or cocktails for the people. The venue is designed to evoke the atmosphere of an Italian "salotto", a living room where friends gather in a relaxed setting.

Patrons can expect mid-century interiors, accented with alpine green and gold elements, alongside a dedicated terrace. The drink menu will feature seasonal cocktails and a bespoke trolley offering a build-your-own Negroni service. Menus are planned to evolve four times annually, incorporating current pop culture references, from Italian music charts to rotating art exhibits.

Strengthening Hong Kong's Hospitality Appeal

This collaboration between two highly-regarded global hospitality names further solidifies Hong Kong's reputation as a premier destination for luxury travel and sophisticated dining. The opening of Bar Camillo within Rosewood Hong Kong offers both residents and international travellers a distinctive new option, reinforcing the city's diverse and competitive luxury market.

For the industry, it sets a precedent for how top-tier hotels can integrate unique, award-winning bar concepts to enhance guest offerings and attract a wider audience, contributing to Hong Kong's position on the global hospitality stage.
