Launch and Core Offering

Hilton will introduce Signia Restore, a new wellness programme, at Signia Hilton Indianapolis in 2027. This concept merges advanced fitness equipment with restorative technologies. It responds to travellers' increasing focus on personal wellbeing. Signia Restore will feature dedicated environments for both mental and physical recovery.

The programme aims to integrate wellness purposefully across the guest stay. Hilton describes the concept as a combination of fitness, recovery, and wellness activities. It also includes curated retail offerings. This approach seeks to meet individual guest needs. Amanda Al-Masri, Hilton’s vice president of wellness, stated this commitment.

The initiative follows a trend where trips serve as mental health resets. Hotels are consequently enhancing their wellness provisions.

Advanced Recovery Facilities

The Signia Hilton Indianapolis will offer specific amenities for guest recovery. A "Physical Recovery and Reset Zone" includes a red light sauna and a hybrid sauna. Sensory showers and a cold therapy room are also available. For mental recuperation, a "Mental Recovery and Readiness Zone" features Zero G MindSync Harmonic Loungers.

Guests can also access Normatec air compression and percussive therapy. The property plans to incorporate advanced wellness technologies. These include Aescape, an AI-powered massage system. The Ammortal Chamber offers an immersive experience. This chamber integrates red and near-infrared light therapy. It also uses pulsed electrostatic fields, vibroacoustics, molecular hydrogen, and guided breathwork.

Training and Retail Offerings

Beyond recovery, guests will find a high-performance training environment. This area provides Peloton bikes and rowing equipment. Conditioning equipment and free-weight zones are also present. The programme includes a curated wellness retail experience. This retail space offers nutrition and hydration products. Restorative items and premium athleisure wear are also available.

Hilton states that wellness provisions are accessible to both hotel guests and local residents. The concept is also suitable for group events. Following its debut in Indianapolis, Hilton intends to expand Signia Restore globally. This expansion will target select Signia properties. Hilton launched the Signia brand in 2019, focusing on meetings and events alongside premium wellness.

Industry Context and Future Outlook

Signia Restore aligns with a broader trend among hotel operators to enhance wellness offerings. Last month, Hilton expanded its collaboration with ResortPass. This partnership aims to scale access to its health and wellness amenities. Other hospitality groups are also active in this sector. Minor Hotels, based in Bangkok, debuted its Anantara brand in Miami in April.

Marriott International has integrated spa technology across its luxury brands. In June, Marriott finalised a deal with Lefay, an Italian wellness brand. This move further expands Marriott's wellbeing strategy. A 2026 study by JD Power reveals guests prioritise health and wellness. The study identified fitness centres as a necessary amenity.

This demonstrates a clear market demand for comprehensive wellness programmes like Signia Restore. The global expansion of this concept could set a new benchmark for upscale hotel wellness provisions. It shows how major brands are adapting to evolving traveller expectations.
